Necromancer - Alpha Version 1.15


Version 1.15 - Changelog:

Thank you for playing Necromancer V1.15. A lot of work went into this update over a month. We hope you appreciate all the visual and not-so-visual changes, and that you stick around to see what else we have coming. Now that the groundwork has been laid we are full steam ahead on adding new features and content!

ART CHANGES:

  • New Player Sprite and Skins
  • New Sprites for Basic Knight, Buff Knight, Loot Priest
  • New Sprites for Powerups
  • Added background for menus
  • New Button Sprites
  • New title font
  • New world tileset
  • New SFX for Player, Enemies, UI

GAME CHANGES:

Game plays the same, balance has not been modified. Most game/engine changes are under the hood and will streamline development going forward.

  • All game scenes refactored into separate folders and files, redundant scenes removed
  • Added BasicMob scene to instantiate all current mob types
  • Resized enemy hitboxes
  • Refactored Player sprite scene
  • Resized player hitbox
  • Added HUD elements to player scene tree, removed from UI
  • Added world scene the contain current game information
  • Refactored UI elements into separate menus
  • Added Jukebox scene that handles music-playing logic
  • Modify algorithms for mob wave and wall spawning. Added waves and walls of mixed enemy types.

BUGFIXES:

  • SFX, Music no longer cut out
  • Bodies of cleansed mobs no longer block other mobs
  • Fixed undead and holy collision
  • Fixed enemy momentum
